Komsic meets UN Secretary-General, discusses implementation of Srebrenica Resolution

Komsic commended Guterres for his commitment and expressed gratitude for the Secretary-General’s role in supporting the resolution, underscoring its significance for the pursuit of truth and justice in Bosnia.

Secretary-General Guterres reiterated the importance of swift implementation, reaffirming the UN’s continued support for BiH, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The meeting also emphasised the importance of strengthening multilateral cooperation and upholding international law as essential foundations for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and worldwide.

At the conclusion of their talks, Komsic extended an invitation to Secretary-General Guterres to pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
