“The Republic of Kosovo enters a new historical phase of the relations with Israel,” it said, according to the Koha daily, adding Pristina’s Foreign Minister Meliza Haradinaj-Stubla and her Israeli counterpart Gabriel Askenhazi would sing the document on diplomatic relations.

Israel recognised Kosovo as an independent state after Pristina and Belgrade signed an agreement at the White House on September 4, 2020.

Under the same deal, Kosovo will open its embassy in Jerusalem.
