Kosovo expects some 2,000 Afghan refugees

He added Pristina was coordinating the steps with the US allies in Afghanistan and NATO in Kosovo (KFOR), but the exact arrival date has not yet been set.

Sveçla said the Afghan refugees would not stay in Kosovo for a long time since Pristina could offer them temporary protection for a year.

Kosovo’s authorities still consider possible locations for settling the refugees.
