The strategic cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the United States was reaffirmed, as was the continuation of cooperation in all areas, including the economy and energy, as well as other fields.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has enormous investment potential, and there is a mutual interest in working together to increase investment in the country.
By modernizing infrastructure and technological capabilities, we are creating the conditions for our domestic economy to become more competitive.
The meeting concluded that such bilateral meetings provide a framework for joint action to enable Bosnia and Herzegovina to make continuous progress and become an important actor at the regional and European levels.
Kristo also met with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH and EU Special Representative in BiH Luigi Soreca.
The meeting focused on the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country's European path and the Reform Agenda.
Kristo particularly highlighted the problems faced by transport operators from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as countries in the region, and stressed the need to find solutions to ensure their unhindered operations and movement within the European Union market.
The meeting also addressed the continuation of reform activities and the importance of continuing cooperation with European Union institutions.
Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Kristo then met with Acting High Representative Louis Crishock, whom she briefed on the work of the Council of Ministers and progress made in the previous period.
The meeting highlighted that the stability and functionality of institutions, together with compromise among political representatives in all areas, remain at the center of their work.
Kristo stressed that the country's European path and the pace of reforms, despite all challenges, remain the top priorities. The Council of Ministers of BiH has shown that it can be a driver of all positive processes when there is political will to make the necessary progress in all areas.
The meeting also discussed the need for dialogue on outstanding issues that would ensure equality of the three constituent peoples, as provided for by the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The process of democratic transition in line with European values is necessary for us ourselves in order to achieve lasting stability and security, the Council of Ministers of BiH said.
