An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Dalmatia and southwestern parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina at about 2200 hours Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported on Wednesday evening.
According to the EMSC, the depth of the epicentre was 5 kilometre, and it happened 40 kilometres northeast of Split, Croatia and 20 kilometres southwest of Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina
There has been no information on any damage so far.
