Massive fire breaks out at furniture factory in Zepce

Following the emergency call, local firefighters from Zepce promptly arrived at the scene and battled the flames throughout the night. Firefighting teams from Zavidovici, Maglaj, Natron Hayat, and Tesanj soon joined them. The Municipality of Zepce expressed its gratitude to all the responders for their swift action.

Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities stated that more details will emerge once the investigation is completed.

e Saga factory employs 70 workers. Zepce Mayor Mato Zovko visited the site this morning to assess the situation. He informed the director of the cantonal civil protection agency about the incident and met with Saga's director, Senad Dzanic, who confirmed that the cause of the fire is still unknown. A detailed investigation will determine the origin of the blaze.

"The damage to the facility is extensive, but the Municipality of Zepce will provide assistance within its jurisdiction and capabilities," municipal officials stated. Thanks to the timely intervention of firefighters, the spread of the fire was contained, preventing it from damaging other parts of the company as well as the nearby Simic Carpentry business.
