Tourists made 1,361,324 visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina between January and November 2022, which is a 53.5 percent increase compared to the year before, while 2,990,960 overnight stays were registered, 43.2 percent more than in 2021, according to data by the BiH Statistics Agency, as reported by the Anadolu Agency (AA).
In the total number of overnight stays, the participation of domestic tourists is 37.6 percent, while the participation of foreign tourists is 62.4 percent.
Most foreign tourists that stayed overnight in BiH were from Serbia (14.5 percent), Croatia (13.5 percent), Slovenia (6 percent), Germany (5.3 percent), Turkey (5 percent), the United Arab Emirates (4.9 percent) and Saudi Arabia (4.3 percent).
