0Transparency International (TI) in BIH is also expected to stop the adoption of the draft law to the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the RS, alleging non-compliance with the rules and guidelines related to the preparation of the text of the draft itself.
About 100 letters were also sent to media in the region and the EU, various associations and institutions.
Amendments to the law would mean that anyone who reports on anything from the personal or family life of a person that may cause harm to their honour or reputation will be fined between 10,000 BAM and 40,000 BAM, while media could be fined between 20,000 BAM to 100,000 BAM.
