The members of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency met with the Managing Director for Europe at the European External Action Service, Angelina Eichhorst, ahead of the opening of the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

The interlocutors welcomed the decision recently adopted by the BiH Presidency on the initiation of the procedure for conducting negotiations to conclude the Agreement between BiH and the European Union on the operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX), as one of the key conditions for the opening of negotiations our country with the European Union.

They assessed that Bosnia and Herzegovina still has a lot of work to do in terms of implementing reforms, but also that the meeting planned for mid-March in Brussels promises a positive outcome for the opening of negotiations with the European Union. It was emphasized that BiH should take advantage of the positive dynamics of work so far and continue with the necessary reforms.

The members of the Presidency thanked Eichhorst for her dedication to the country and its European path,  the Presidency said.
