The new plant currently employs 42 workers, who have undergone training at the Metus factories in Croatia.

Metus is owned by a Swedish fund, the Sdiptech A.B. Group. It was established in 1994 and currently operates in several European and South American countries.

The chairman of the board of the Zagreb-based Metus, Tomislav Medić, was quoted as saying that the Tomislavgrad factory would lead to a twofold increase in the company's productivity and also help the local community's development.

Jakob Holm, the chairman of the Sdiptech Group board, expressed his belief that this investment would encourage other companies to invest in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
