On the occasion of the International Day of Migrants on December 18, migrants who are in the process of seeking asylum in Bosnia offered their help in a Tuzla soup kitchen within the Swiss Caritas project aimed at helping their inclusion in the community. 

Thus several helped the Muslim humanitarian society Merhamet’s soup kitchen in Tuzla, where they helped prepare food and serve warm meals for all the residents in need.

“This is a long process of learning, introducing all of us to those seeking support and it is important that we are prepared during this time. It is important that we learn how to be supportive, and how to support those who want to stay here because they want to be useful to the community they belong to,” Caritas said.
