On the occasion of the greatest Christian holiday - the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, I send my heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, metropolitans, bishops, clergy, monks and all Orthodox believers, said the President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity Milorad Dodik.

“I want you to welcome and spend this holiday season in the spirit of the centuries-old tradition of our people. In the circumstances in which we live, faith in the resurrection, in good and justice is what should strengthen us every day and confirm the truth that evil does not have the last word,” the RS President wrote on X.

Dodik stated that all Orthodox holidays, especially Easter, refer to family values that bring us together and that have kept us together.

“Gathered in temples and in the warmth of our homes, united in the beauty of neighbourly and friendly relations, we gain personal and collective strength. Therefore, may the Resurrection of Christ bring much-needed joy and comfort to everyone,” Dodik said.
