The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, signed an addendum on Friday to the contract for procuring equipment for the Public RTV Services Digitization Project in BiH. The agreement was made with representatives of Odasiljaci i veze d.o.o. Zagreb and Nimbus Innovations d.o.o. Banja Luka, the latter of which has assumed all rights, assets, and obligations from Sirius 2010, a company sanctioned by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

The addendum, which transfers all responsibilities for fulfilling the contract to Odasiljaci i veze, was prepared based on legal guidance from the Attorney General's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This followed the submission of evidence that all contractual conditions had been met.

Under the terms of the addendum, Odasiljaci i veze is required to provide a new bank guarantee within 15 days to ensure the contract's completion.

Minister Forto expressed satisfaction that a solution was found to move forward with the RTV signal digitalization project despite the unforeseen challenges. He noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is the last country in Europe to digitalize its RTV signal and emphasized the importance of adhering to U.S. sanctions. The Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH made the announcement.
