Minister Helez calls Bosnia's military attaché to Serbia for urgent consultations

The aim of the consultations is for the BiH Ministry of Defense, based on available official and diplomatic information, to gain a complete and objective insight into the circumstances of the event, including the nature of the Serbian Armed Forces' involvement.

“The BiH Ministry of Defense expresses its deep disagreement with an action which, given the final judgments of international judicial institutions, could have serious consequences for the feelings of victims and survivors, the reconciliation process, mutual trust and good-neighborly relations in the region,” Helez said.

“We must assess the potential for harmful consequences for bilateral military cooperation and relations between Bosnia and Serbia, while also taking into account the implementation of the Plan of Bilateral Military Cooperation between BiH and Serbia,” BiH Defense Minister Zukan Helez concluded.
