Minister terminates contracts of two Bosnia Armed Forces members for glorifying Ratko Mladic

“I want to be completely clear: as long as I am the Defense Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there will be no tolerance in the Armed Forces of BiH for glorifying war criminals. The other reported cases have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their status in the Armed Forces of BiH will be resolved after decisions are made by the competent judicial institutions, in accordance with the law,” Helez said.

He stressed that the Armed Forces of BiH are the army of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“They protect all our citizens, peace and security, as well as the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. Our army must be an institution that every citizen can trust, an institution that respects victims, the law and the values of peace,” the BiH Defense Minister said.
