More than 200 buildings reported for earthquake damage assessment in Prijedor

More than 200 buildings have been reported to the commission of the town of Prijedor for the assessment of damage from earthquakes, of which, according to a rough estimate, 80 percent are residential, the head of the commission, Bosko Stojancic, said on Friday.

Stojancic said that there was no major damage to newer constructions in the city zone and that those damaged were mostly older buildings.
He appealed to citizens to be patient, saying that the commission will visit all the buildings that were reported to estimate the damage.
The series of earthquakes that hit neighbouring Croatia in the past several days also produced damage across towns in Bosnia’s northwest.
