Some 50,000 people cross the border from Ukraine to Poland on average daily and while Polish authorities are doing their best to admit them, there is concern that the worst is yet to come since the influx of refugees is constant, N1’s Adisa Imamovic reports from the Ukraine-Poland border.

Polish authorities, NGOs and many volunteers are working around the clock at the border crossing.

Imamovic said that she saw some 300 Ukrainian refugees at the registration centre, as well as dozens of buses that are to take them to various destinations within the country.

Meanwhile, authorities in several cities in Poland have said they cannot admit any more refugees and the country appealed to the UN and EU to address the situation. There are some 200,000 refugees in Warsaw and about 300,000 in Krakow - which is about 10 to 13 percent of the total population of those cities.
