N1 crew assaulted in Belgrade by regime supporter

The man came up to the crew and ordered them to stop recording before grabbing the camera and throwing it onto the pavement.

Police standing nearby did not react to the incident, approaching only after the N1 reporter called them.

Incidents have been reported at the Caciland (pronounced Tchatzyeeland) tent camp which was set up by regime supporters, blocking one of the main traffic arteries in the center of the Serbian capital.

N1 crews and individual reporters have been assaulted both physically and verbally a number of times since the start of anti-government protests more than a year ago.
