Nearly 600 new coronavirus infections, 17 COVID-19 deaths reported in Bosnia

Of the 2,346 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Tuesday, 384 were positive for the virus and eight COVID-19 patients passed away.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 766 people were tested and 176 of them were positive for the virus, while eight died due to the disease.

Bosnia’s Brcko District registered 17 new infections and one COVID-19 patient died.

More than 129,000 people tested positive for the virus in Bosnia since the beginning of the pandemic and more than 113,000 of them have recovered so far.
Bosnia’s COVID-19 death toll has surpassed 5,000.
