New ambassador invites King of Belgians for a visit to Bosnia

The officials expressed hope on this occasion that good bilateral relations between the two countries will continue.

The ambassador informed the King about the progress that Bosnia and Herzegovina made on the path to the European Union membership, expressing hope for the support to the opening of accession talk by the end of the year.

He also thanked for the decision of the Belgian Government on the engagement of its troops in the EU military deployment in BiH.

Avdovic invited the King for an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Belgian monarch showed interest in Bosnia's EU journey and the current developments in the country, recalling of his visit to BiH, particularly Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla and Medjugorje.
