The House of Representatives of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity Parliament confirmed the composition of the new entity Government just a few days ago and ministers and Prime Minister Nermin Niksic officially took office Wednesday.
Namely, the handover of duties between the new and old ministers was held at the FBiH Government building. It is interesting to note that the now ex-prime minister Fadil Novalic did not appear at the ceremony nor was he seen in the building.
The new FBiH Government was appointed after eight years. The FBiH government was led by Fadil Novalic, who held office since the election in 2014, four of which were in the technical mandate, considering that after the 2018 election, the government failed to form.
The new government consists of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Narod i Pravda (NiP), Nasa Stranka (NS), Croat Democratic Party (HDZ BiH) and HDZ 1990. The following are appointed to the positions:
Nermin Niksic (SDP) – Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Vojin Mijatovic (SDP) – Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts
Nerin Dizdar (SDP) – Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees
Nedzad Lokmic (SDP) – Minister for Veterans and Disabled Persons
Vedran Lakic (SDP) – Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry
Jasna Durakovic (SDP) – Minister of Education and Science
Toni Kraljevic (HDZ) – Minister of Finance
Vedran Skobic (HDZ) – Minister of Justice
Sanja Vlaisavljevic (HDZ) – Minister of Culture and Sports
Zeljko Nedic (HDZ) – Minister of Spatial Planning
Andrijana Katic Filipovic (HDZ) – Minister of Transport and Communication
Nediljko Rimac (HDZ 1990) – Minister of Health
Amir Hasicevic (NS) – Minister of Trade
Nasiha Pozder (NS) – Minister of Environment and Tourism
Adnan Delic (NiP) – Minister of Labor and Social Policy
Kemal Hrnjic (NiP) – Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry
Ramo Isak – Minister of the Interior.
