An informal group of citizens called "ReSTART" will organize a new protest in Sarajevo in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) building on Tuesday, at 4:30 pm.
The protest is scheduled due to secessionist calls by the Republika Srpska (RS) entity President, Milorad Dodik, and dissatisfaction with the moves of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. High Representative Christian Schmidt and the announcement of the future use of Bonn powers through which he can impose new laws and amend the existing ones.
The protest is planned to last for two hours, during which time a meeting of the Peace Implementation Council’s Steering Board will be held.
“People from Bosnia’s public and political life will not be allowed to use the microphone, nor will it be available to any party or non-party organization that would use this opportunity for self-promotion. It is exclusively reserved for Bosnian citizens. Anyone who wants to support what we do for the motherland can join us in the crowd (as in earlier protests),” the ReSTART organization stated.
They called on all citizens to come and join them.
