New York's SVA Theatre to host annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (BHFF) is scheduled to take place from April 22 to 25 at the SVA Theatre in Chelsea, New York. Recognized as one of the longest-running continuously held film festivals in the city, the BHFF plays a crucial role in facilitating cultural and artistic exchange between Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Western Balkans, and the United States.

The event is a project of The Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ABH), a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to promote the country's intellectual and cultural heritage and support the work of the Bosnian community in New York. The festival offers a dedicated platform for filmmakers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region to present their latest work to a diverse audience.
Each year, the BHFF showcases a selection of films complemented by a series of interactive activities. These include post-screening Q&A sessions, panel discussions, and public forums designed to enable a direct exchange between filmmakers from the Western Balkans and the New York public.
