Police officers from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) conducted an operation code-named "Lab" during which they discovered the most modern laboratories for the production of cannabis and confiscated a large amount of cannabis stems. As announced at the press conference, this is one of the largest confiscations of cannabis in recent times in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Four people were arrested.
The operation was held from July 2 to 3, 2023. Previously, observations were made for a longer period of time.
B.C. (1998) male who also has German citizenship was arrested, along with Z.D. (1992) male from Mostar, E.H. (2000) female from Mostar and K.P. (birth year unknown) female from Mostar. A report has been filed against the suspects and searches were carried out at three locations in Mostar.

Inspectors found a laboratory with sophisticated equipment, and another laboratory was ready but not put into operation because of the police operation.
A total of 444 stems of cannabis, two automatic rifles, vials with seeds, and all material for growing, protection and feed for the small seedlings were confiscated.
