Only two employees of Bosnia’s State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) residing in the Republika Srpska (RS) entity have submitted requests to terminate their contracts, SIPA confirmed to N1.

According to the agency's response, the employees did not specify their reasons for resigning.

The RS government had issued an open call for employees residing in that entity and employed in SIPA, the Court and Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to transfer to Republika Srpska institutions if they were willing.

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik previously claimed that 300 Serb members of SIPA would transfer to the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska (RS MoI), while Interior Minister Sinisa Karan stated that 20 had done so as of yesterday. However, current data indicates that these claims are inaccurate.
