Orthodox Christians following the Julian calendar, including those in Bosnia and Herzegovina, are celebrating Christmas today.

Traditionally, the faithful lit the yule log on the Christmas Eve, a night before, in front of the Sarajevo's Old Orthodox Church and attended the Christmas Eve mass, in accordance with the epidemiological measures.

On Christmas Day, the faithful attend the morning liturgy and then spend the rest of the day in their homes with family.

Bosnia's senior officials and religious dignitaries wished the Orthodox believers a Marry Christmas in the days prior to the feast.
