The Mission emphasized the importance of prioritizing the next procedural steps in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH. It called for constructive and inclusive discussions, consultations, and further enhancements to the proposed legislation to ensure comprehensive protection.

“These measures are essential for providing urgent, victim-centred protection, support, and justice. They will also empower institutions with the tools necessary to address domestic violence effectively and reinforce the message that there is #NoExcuse for domestic violence, gender-based violence, or violence against women,” stated the OSCE Mission to BiH.

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina in its efforts to ensure safety and security for all citizens, free from the threat of domestic and gender-based violence.
