Osman Junuzovic, one of Bosnia's best athletes dies at the age of 27

One of Bosnia's best athletes Osman Junuzovic had died at the age of 27, Athletic Association of Bosnia's Federation entity said Tuesday.

Osman Junuzovic lived in Doboj Istok and was BiH champion in 3,000 m race, 3,000 m steeplechase, 5,000 m, 8,000 m cross, 10,000 m track, 10,000 m street, half-marathon and marathon.

Junizovic was also a 3,000 m steeplechase Balkan champion. He won the third place in 3,000m steeplechase at the first European Games in Baku and was the winner of the 3,000 and 5,000m in Malta, which is only a part of what he accomplished.

The news of his death was confirmed by Osman's brother Asmir.
