Our Party (NS) delegate in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Predrag Kojovic, told N1 Tuesday that NS will not support Srdjan Amidzic for the BiH Finance Minister, as proposed by the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) after Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD) was elected as the director of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH.

Amidzic passed all secret service checks and his appointment should supposedly be voted on at Wednesday's session.

“NS has decided to withdraw its support and it will not vote in accordance with the coalition agreement due to [SNSD leader and Republika Srpska entity President Milorad] Dodik's latest statements, especially the meeting in Konjic, which shocked us,” said Kojović and stated that he personally told this to Milorad Dodik.

Kojovic said that they will stick to this decision as long as the “attacks on the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its constitutional order” continue.

“Our Party will not change its opinion and discussions about this are also taking place in other parties of the Troika,” he said, adding that for now he is sure that he and Sabina Cudic will not vote for the appointment of the new Minister. Other items on the agenda will be announced when it is published.

He said that they (NS) made a mistake by choosing Dodik as a partner and that they should have insisted on the opposition.
