Over 100 rescuers from all over Bosnia searching for 10-y-o boy

A hundred and ten members of the Mountain Rescue Service from all over BiH arrived at Nevesinje, where they are conducting an extensive search for ten-year-old Vukasin Samardzija who disappeared Thursday day around 3:30 pm.

“Some 110 members of the Mountain Rescue Service from all over BiH have arrived, there are police and locals,” said the head of the Citluk Mountain Rescue Service Station, Zarko Pehar, who is leading the search.

Pehar stated that the wider terrain of the Nevesinje field towards Gacko was being searched and that certain traces like a bicycle had been found in the mud. The terrain being searched is very inaccessible, he noted.

Mountain Rescue Service is searching the area with equipment, dogs and drones.

On Friday morning, the Nevesinje Police Station received a report that ten-year-old Vukasin Smardzija, who lives in Bojista, Nevesinje municipality, disappeared on Thursday at around 3:30 p.m.
