After the High Representative Christian Schmidt announced his arrival in Republika Srpska (RS) and a meeting in Banja Luka with the vice-presidents of the entity, RS President Secretary General Jelena Pajic-Bastinac issued an order banning the use of the official premises of the Palace of the RS.
The order states that any person who acts contrary to the order will be considered to have violated the status of a protected building.
RS Vice President Camil Durakovic previously said that he would meet with Schimdt, while Davor Pranjic told "Nezavisne novine" daily that due to his earlier commitments, he would most likely not meet with the High Representative
RS opposition representatives also refused to meet with Schmidt.
