Among the officials attending the ceremony were Eric Pliez, mayor of Paris' 20th arrondissement, Paris Deputy Mayor Annah Bikoulou and Paris City Councillor Genevieve Garrigos, along with representatives of Bosnian associations in France.

A wreath was laid in memory of the victims killed in July 1995.

Speakers highlighted the need to preserve historical truth and continue the fight against genocide denial, historical revisionism, discrimination and all forms of hatred.

The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in France said it would continue supporting initiatives aimed at preserving the memory of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide while promoting peace, human dignity, mutual respect and understanding.
