The participants of the Srebrenica Peace March visited Kamenicka brdo, the infamous Bukva location, which was the site of a large ambush for the Srebrenica residents fleeing the genocide. Arriving at this location was very poignant for Hajro Karic, a survivor of the 1995 death march, who recalled the most difficult moments in his life. There he saw the three his brothers Saban, Refik and Reuf for the last time.

The largest ambush for the people of Srebrenica who were trying to break through to the territory under the control of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was made on Kamenicko brdo.

According to some estimates of the survivors, at least 1,000 people were killed there, and the same number of them were captured.

As recorded in one of the videos by this year's Peace March participants, arriving at this place was very shocking for Hajro Karic, a survivor of the 1995 death march, who recalled the most painful moments. In that place, he saw his three brothers Saban, Refik and Reuf alive for the last time.

Hajro was overcome by emotions and could not hold back the tears.

Saban, Reuf and Refik were buried at the Srebrenica Memorial Centre in Potocari.
