Police in Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity found 130 kilograms of drugs with a value of about one million Bosnian Marks and detained five people after they intercepted a van near Sarajevo on Wednesday.

The 50 packages of the illicit drugs, believed to be cannabis, were discovered in a hidden compartment in a van on the road towards Bjelasnica mountain.

The five suspects, four males and one female, are from the eastern town of Foca, police said.
