Bosnia’s State Police said on Thursday that it seized 46 kilograms of explosives in Tarcin, near the capital, on Wednesday evening and arrested one person suspected of illegal possession of weapons and explosives.
According to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), officers searched the suspect’s vehicle and found 26 pieces of military-grade explosives, each weighing half a kilogram, 100 pieces of military explosives weighing 200 grams each and 130 pieces of military explosives weighing 100 grams each in the trunk.
The vehicle itself was also seized, as well as the cell phone belonging to the suspect.
SIPA said its officers also raided an apartment the suspect was using in the town of Tuzla on Thursday.
