A fault on the 110 kV transmission line managed by Elektroprijenos BiH has left around 39,000 customers without electricity in the areas of Maglaj, Zavidovici, Tesanj, and Doboj Jug. Restoration efforts are underway, and Elektroprivreda BiH will proceed with its activities to normalize supply once Elektroprijenos BiH repairs the transmission line.
The situation in Tuzla Canton remains challenging, particularly in Gracanica, Gradacac, Tuzla, Celic, Srebrenik, Lukavac, Sapna, and Kladanj, despite continuous efforts by the Tuzla “Elektrodistribucija” teams to resolve outages.
In the Una-Sana Canton, conditions have been gradually stabilizing since last night, with electricity restored to a significant number of affected customers.
Field crews from Elektroprivreda BiH are also working intensively in Travnik, Novi Travnik, Donji Vakuf, Bugojno, Fojnica, Konjic, Jablanica, and Mostar to address remaining issues.
Elektroprivreda BiH has urged customers experiencing power outages to disconnect high-power appliances, including heaters, boilers, and electric stoves. Once power is restored, these devices should be turned on gradually, with heating devices initially set to minimum levels and boilers activated several hours later.
This staggered approach will help ensure the network is not overloaded and prevent further outages, allowing all consumers to regain a stable power supply, Elektroprivreda BiH said.
