Electricity supply has been restored to all populated areas in flood-affected regions of the Jablanica municipality, with the exception of part of Donja Jablanica.

“Road connections within the Jablanica municipality and with some neighboring municipalities remain disrupted, and efforts to clear roads are ongoing. Throughout the day, cleanup of debris in Donja Jablanica has continued with the help of heavy machinery and volunteers,” reported the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ).

Work has also continued on clearing roads and buildings in Zlatica, Mirke, Cehari, Civelj, as well as villages across the lake, and on maintaining the access road to the municipal landfill in Zakom. Additional cleanup is being conducted in other flood-affected areas.

Progress is being made in preparing a site for a container settlement to house families displaced by the flooding temporarily.

Efforts are also underway to reopen the M-17-5 Jablanica–Blidinje highway to traffic.

Specialized teams are surveying the area, assessing damages, and providing recommendations for repair. Food and medical supplies are being delivered to residents in affected areas. In an initiative led by the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Protection of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, volunteers continue to clear debris from the Jablanica and Grabovica lakes.

According to reports from the flooded municipalities, the situation on the ground is gradually stabilizing, with cleanup and damage repair work underway in Jablanica, as well as in the municipalities of Kiseljak, Fojnica, and Kresevo.
