Pro-Palestinian activists interrupt AWS executive’s speech, chant “Murderers, get out of Bosnia”

The Israeli military has publicly admitted to using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to increase its efficiency during the war in Gaza, alongside Google and Microsoft cloud services. Of these three companies, Amazon reportedly has the closest ties to the Israeli military. Israeli military intelligence uses AWS to store massive amounts of information on nearly every person in Gaza.

Protesters are demanding that AWS not be collaborated with in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that all exports of weapons and ammunition to Israel be banned.

“We do not want any product made in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be used for genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, or apartheid,” members of several civic groups stated on social media.

Activists who entered the hall shouted slogans such as “Free Palestine” and “Murderers, get out of Bosnia.”

They called out the audience for “their silence and applause for a man who profits from genocide.”
