A small group of residents from the south-Bosnian municipality of Grude gathered Thursday evening in the Park of Croatian Greats to protest against the measures adopted by the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the West Herzegovina Canton regarding the coronavirus pandemic.

The call for protest came after the government adopted an order restricting movement between 8:30 pm and 5 am, by an unknown individual or several of them on social networks.

One of the dissatisfied citizens said in a statement for the media that no one has the right to deny people their freedom.
“Let them fine us. There is no law here anyway, in fact, it’s not respected,” she said.

In the end, they were all fined at the very end of the protest, when the police officers wrote misdemeanour warrants to all those present.
