Speaking in an interview with the HRT public broadcaster, Pem Novosel said that the most dominant variant in Croatia was the British variant and that now several cases of the Indian variant had been detected as well.

The two variants are rather infectious, she said, but noted that the latest cases of the Indian variant in Split-Dalmatia County were isolated cases and that there was no need to panic.
