The film ‘Quo Vadis, Aida?’ was nominated in four of the five most important categories of the European Film Academy, including the Best European Film, Deblokada production said Tuesday.
The film ‘Quo Vadis, Aida?’ was nominated in four of the five most important categories of the European Film Academy: Best European film in 2021 – director Jasmila Zbanic and producer Damir Ibrahimovic; Jasmila Zbanic for best European director; Jasna Djuricic for best European actress and Jasmila Zbanic for best European screenwriter.
The European Film Academy held a press conference in Seville at which they announced the nominations for the best accomplishments in European cinematography in 2020 and 2021, Deblokada production added.
In addition to the above-mentioned nominations, the film was also nominated for the European University Film Award, which is given by students from European universities.
After its premiere at the Venice Film Festival, the film was nominated for an Oscar, the British Film Academy BAFTA, won the Independent Spirit Awards, and over 30 awards at various world festivals.
