Lakic also mentioned that Bosnia and Herzegovina has started its transition, planning to close coal mines and invest in wind and solar projects. However, the underdeveloped power grid remains a significant obstacle.

Alija Kozljak, security advisor and lecturer, addressed geopolitical challenges, particularly Russia's influence in Bosnia, warning of hybrid threats that destabilize the region. He stressed the need for stronger alliances with NATO and the EU.

Other panelists, including Dr. Rosa Aloisi and Dr. Jelena Dzankic, emphasized the importance of addressing economic instability and migration, alongside the need for social reforms. NATO and the EU were urged to focus more on the Balkans to support stability and integration efforts.

Participants agreed that accelerating reforms, strengthening cooperation, and addressing security issues are vital for the region's future, aiming for a more stable and prosperous Balkans in the next decade.
