Raids as part of intl police operation against organised crime underway in BiH
As part of the international police operation codenamed "ATM", members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) began searches of business and residential buildings at 13 locations in Sarajevo and Zenica to secure evidence on suspicion of organised crime and money laundering.
The operations, ordered by the Court of BiH, are the result of the work of the Joint Investigation Team of SIPA and the prosecutor’s offices of BiH and Slovenia, which began in February 2022.
Meanwhile, police in Slovenia are searching more than 70 locations to secure evidence against more than 50 persons.
The activities of the Joint Investigation Team were carried out with the help of EUROJUST.
