Red meteorological alarm issued due to extremely hot weather expected in BiH

The Meteoalarm.eu website issued a red meteorological alarm for the areas of Sarajevo, Mostar, Bihac and Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday due to the extremely high temperatures that are expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in some places.

Although not as severe, the temperatures in the rest of the country, for which the orange meteorological alarm was issued, are still expected to be dangerous.
This is expected to be the peak of the heatwave that has hit Bosnia since recently.

Doctors warned that staying outdoors should be avoided as much as possible 12 am and 5 pm.

Rain showers are expected in BiH in the coming period as well, resulting in high humidity.
