RS Health Insurance Fund under ransomware attack

The RS Interior Ministry told N1 that the Banja Luka Police Department and the High-Tech Crime Unit of the Criminal Police Department are working on this case.

They received the report on December 31, 2023, and the investigation determined that it was a "ransomware" attack. The on-duty prosecutor of the Banja Luka District Prosecutor's Office was informed about the event, as well.

The Health Insurance Fund announced that citizens have not and will not be denied health care, despite the highly sophisticated hacker attack which is currently not functioning as a result.
