Citizens, MPs and other officials of parties representing the opposition gathered at the plateau in front of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (RSNA) entity, on Thursday.
According to N1’s Snezana Mitrovic, some 200 citizens are currently in front of the RSNA.
There was no organized transportation of citizens, and those who came say that they came to support the opposition MPs.
Nebojsa Vukanovic, a member of the RS parliament, said that the RSNA building was alienated by a few powerful people who think they can do whatever they want.
“We adopted a decision that no laws will be adopted at the BiH level, and that was trampled on. Everything is subject to trade and it's high time we raised our voices. We’ll try to visit all the places in the RS in the coming period, in order to clarify to the citizens what is happening behind the scenes, and that new humiliations are taking place,” Vukanovic pointed out.
Igor Crnadak, the leader of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP), said that the ruling regime in the RS does not want them to do work in the RSNA.
“The SNSD has been trading with RSNA conclusions for 10 years. We said enough this time, no more can be done,” he stated, sending “a final invitation” to hold a session on the violation of the conclusions.
The Banjaluka Police Department issued ban on the public gathering of RSNA members and opposition leaders Igor Crnatak, Vukota Govedarica and Nebojsa Vukanovic announced that despite the ban, they will come in front of the parliament building building to express their displeasure over the violation of the decisions of the National Assembly, for which they accuse the ruling party in the entity, the Alliance of independent Social Democrats (SNSD) led by Milorad Dodik.
