The Director of the Srebrenica-Potocari Memorial Centre, Emir Suljagic, received a police call for questioning over a "threat to security". Commenting on the police request, Suljagic said that it was the treatment for the "lower type of people".
“This is the treatment I receive from Milorad Dodik's police. I have to go to Zvornik tomorrow to be questioned for ‘endangering security.’ This is how the Bosnian Serb police treat non-Serbs: like untermensch, without rights or due process. I don't even know my accuser. Meanwhile, members of this police station harass me and other Srebrenica Memorial Center employees, conducting off-the-books investigations against us,” Suljagic wrote on his X account.
The Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina made two official notes about the threats that were sent to the protected person Emir Suljagic, the director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, in April and at the end of May.
The first threat was recorded on April 8, and the last on May 31 of this year.
