The President of the Veterans' Organization of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska entity (BORS), Radan Ostojic, said Friday that his organization will try to prevent the announced gathering of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) members in Banja Luka on the occasion of the country’s Statehood Day in every possible way.
Ostojic says it would be an insult to all living veterans of the Republika Srpska Army, but even greater for the dead veterans who gave their lives for the creation of the RS.
He pointed out that BORS will be in permanent session until this situation is fully resolved.
Ostojic recalled that the Banja Luka Police Department passed a decision prohibiting the SDP from gathering for the purpose of marking the Statehood Day, but that despite this they are not giving up coming to the city, which, he says, is a form of provocation.
That is why the competent RS institutions should prohibit such a gathering in the entire entity.#related-news_2
When it comes to the BiH Defense Minister, Zukan Helez, statements regarding the alleged existence of “military training camps for paramilitary formations on the RS territory,” Ostojic said that these are pure fabrications and lies and that such claims are very dangerous from a security point of view.
He added that there is nothing in the RS that can cause destabilization, while it is known that there are “numerous parajemats operating in the territory of the Federation entity (FBiH).”
Ostojic invited Helez to go together and show him exactly where in the Republika Srpska the mentioned camps are located.
