Sarajevo Airport expects busiest summer season on record

This is 41.4 percent more passengers compared to the same month in 2019 (53,130).

The airport recorded 843 operations (708 in February 2023). Sarajevo Airport also recorded 191.2 tons of cargo (169.9 tons in February 2023).

In total, in the first two months of 2024, Sarajevo Airport handled 152,566 passengers, 1,746 operations and 466.8 tons of cargo, Zamaaero reported.

According to BiznisInfo.ba, Sarajevo Airport is expecting its busiest summer season on record, with twelve announced new routes and more than 1.6 million seats on sale between March 31 and October 26.
