Sarajevo Canton Education Minister resigns

“The previous few days have been very turbulent. I would like to inform you that I submitted my irrevocable resignation to the Prime Minister this morning. I was honoured to perform this function. It was challenging to build a ministry,” she said.

The resignation comes in light of a fierce discussion on a draft law on higher education in KS.

KS Prime Minister, Edin Forto, withdrew the bill, arguing that there is “a lack of political will” for reaching an agreement on the issue at the moment.
